Monkeyglasses sunglasses

All our sunglasses are available with polarized lenses, that are ideal for filtering away horizontal light reflections from water surfaces or snow. We deliver quality lenses that provide certified UV protection, ranging from the lightest, UV1, to the highest level, UV3.

Type of filter

Using this notice you will be able to identify the types of use for which your sunglasses have been designed. On the individual frame, at the inside of the end temple, a single number is printed. A number between 0-4 will indicate the sunglasses’ category number, see the table for recommended filters and lenses:

General information

Monkeyglasses sunglass lenses are manufactured to have high optical precision and are shock resistant compliance with the EN ISO 12312-1:2013/A1:2015 and the US FDA 21 CFR 801.410 regulations. The frames are in compliance with DS/ EN ISO 12870. The frames are made using materials specially developed for lightness and comfort while at the same time guaranteeing structural strength.


Instruction for care and cleaning

Use lukewarm water and regular liquid detergent and dry with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid the use of solvents (e.g. alcohol and acetone) and harsh chemicals that can compromise the functionality of the glasses. Store in a dry place, at a temperature between -10° C and +35° C in its case.


Manufacturer’s notice

This manufacturer’s notice is in accordance with PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment and repealing Council Directive 89/686/EEC. Monkeyglasses sunglasses comply with amendments concerning the essential safety provisions and conditions required by the EN ISO 12312-1:2013/A1:2015.


Restrictions of use

This product is not suitable for direct observation of the sun. It is not for protection against artificial light sources e.g. solaria. Not for use as eye protection.
This is a piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) rated class I, developed to protect the user from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays and to offer UV protection according to the main International Standards. It is suitable for use under normal conditions without excessive stress. Not for use as eye protection against mechanical impact hazards. Not suitable for driving in twilight or at night.



Monkeyglasses sunglasses are warranted for 2 years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and/or workmanship. For the guarantee to apply, the protection purchase must have been made from an authorized Monkeyglasses vendor.

Monkeyglasses will replace or repair at our option, free of charge with proof of purchase. This warranty shall not apply to any defect or damage caused by accident or against scratched sun lenses. They are not unbreakable and are not designed to withstand severe impact. They are designed for normal, everyday wear to protect the user from the rays of the sun. Defective sunglasses should be taken to an approved Monkeyglasses retailer, along with proof of purchase.
