Monkeyglasses Flagship store -  Denmark's first sustainable eyewear store opened October 11th 2019

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary by opening a Monkeyglasses flagship store at Fælledvej 16, 2200 Copenhagen N

We make specialized lenses for your Monkeyglasses.

Skræddersyede briller fra Monkeyglasses

A complete Monkeyglasses universe

We look forward to providing an exceptional experience in the new loaction. The shelves are filled with opening offers on our great glasses and you will be able to experience the process up close, as the premises will double as Moneyglasses' new headquarters.

The pricing is both simple and very fair, and the location of the store is no coincidence: “New ideas are allowed to flourish on Nørrebro. It is home to open and conscious consumers who match our green and service-minded DNA.“ - CEO, Morten Seaton.

Glasses and contact lenses with green conscience

At Monkeyglasses, we have produced sustainable glasses for 10 years. We have been brave and insisted on a policy of zero waste, biodegradable cotton acetate and recycled steel frames, recycled paper packaging, donations to 'Save The Orangutans' and collaboration with 'Syn For Sagen', who provide second-hand glasses to new owners in developing countries ”- Mai-britt & Morten Seaton, owners of Monkeyglasses. In the new eyewear shop, we are therefore proud to offer sustainable contact lenses: The lenses are not produced in disposable molds, but directly in the blister pack, and the packaging can be returned in ordinary household recycling.

Look good while doing good

Our handmade glasses can enhance or tweak your personality. Our optician will be ready to assist you with expert guidance on both frames and glass. We insist that a pair of Monkeyglasses should make you both see well and look great - while taking responsibility for the product's footprint. “We all change up our clothes, shoes and hairstyles. We provide the same option for glasses, because the price point is low and the sustainability aspect is covered. My designs may not change the world, but my hope is that our products and our stories will be seeds that will grow and that our customers will become proud Monkeyglasses ambassadors.“- Designer and CEO, Mai-Britt Seaton..
