The Monkeyglasses team is highly focused on minimizing waste — both within our company and in our production, where leftover materials from the manufacturing process are recycled and given new life.

Recycled production waste
We use our production waste to create our recycled-based Recycled Black frames made from cotton acetate.
All the small pieces that are cut off during the manufacturing of our handcrafted eyewear are collected, remelted, and dyed to become our beautiful, deep black frames.
Other initiatives in our Zero Waste program include our foldable signature case, which is made from recycled paper, and our cleaning cloths, which are produced from recycled plastic bottles.
We continuously optimize our processes to protect both the environment and our employees — in our eyewear production as well as in our Flagship Store, where we make an effort to recycle all waste, eat locally produced food, commute by bike, and furnish our space with recycled materials.
