Ballet – a sunglasses collection of colors, courage, and elegance

Colors have always been my language. As a child, I collected hats and sunglasses – not just as accessories, but as little portals to new versions of myself. My glasses were my play, my shield, my superpower. With a shift in color, I could change my mood, my expression, my energy. That feeling has stayed with me throughout my life.

Daring to stand out takes courage. Standing strong in oneself takes willpower. That is exactly what Ballet is all about.

The dream of my own sunglasses collection has followed me for years, but it only became real when I met Monkeyglasses. Since 2009, they have created beautiful glasses with an eye for quality and sustainability – and together we have created a collection that unites elegance with strength

I have named it Ballet. Because ballet is so much more than grace. It is strength that looks effortless. It is precision disguised as poetry. Behind every movement lies years of dedication, balance, and willpower. When I began the design process in 2024, I was inspired by exactly that: the contrast between the fragile and the strong, between the classic and the bold.

The collection consists of three styles, each in four color combinations. The sunglasses are made from recycled food packaging – proof that beauty and responsibility can go hand in hand. They are designed to breathe new life into your wardrobe, to let the colors dance, and to give you the courage to be yourself.

Ballet is my tribute to those who dare to take up space. To those who wear colors as a statement. To those who understand that the most beautiful thing you can be is yourself.
