FALK – Sports Eyewear with Photochromic Lenses

FALK is a versatile sports sunglass model featuring photochromic (light-adaptive) lenses that automatically adjust to changing light conditions. Designed to fit most face shapes, FALK is ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, running, cycling, tennis, and more.

The photochromic lenses darken in direct sunlight and lighten again as UV exposure decreases, ensuring optimal vision and comfort in changing weather. Additional lenses in various colors—or completely clear lenses—can be purchased separately.

Sports Eyewear with Prescription Option

FALK offers a unique solution that allows you to use your own prescription in sports eyewear, without the need for contact lenses.

When purchasing FALK in our webshop, you can select a free prescription insert, which your local optician can fit with your personal prescription lenses. The insert clicks easily into place inside the frame at the nose bridge and sits in a clear holder.

Premium Materials

FALK sports eyewear is made from lightweight and strong recycled plastic that is gentle on the skin and free from plasticizers, making it allergy-friendly and comfortable for extended wear.

The lenses are made from polycarbonate, an extremely impact-resistant material that does not shatter. This makes the glasses particularly suitable for sports where durability and safety are essential.

Photochromic Lenses – Adapt to Changing Light

The photochromic lenses react to UV rays from natural sunlight and automatically adjust their tint based on light conditions. The effect is activated only in natural sunlight—not under artificial lighting.

FALK is available in three frame colors, each paired with a distinct lens design:

• Black frame: Grey lens with blue mirror

• Matte grey-green frame: Brown lens with silver mirror (contrast-enhancing and well suited for activities such as skiing)

• Pink frame: Grey lens with pink mirror

Interchangeable Lenses – Click and Switch

FALK sports sunglasses come standard with photochromic lenses, but you can easily add other lens options, including:

• Polarized lenses (brown or grey), which reduce glare from surfaces such as water, snow, and wet roads

• Clear lenses that transition to grey, ideal for cycling and active sports where eye protection from wind, sand, and insects is essential
